Hi everyone,

We've got an update for you on the state of fulfillment, our online resource center titled "The Living Valley," new video content, and more!

Current State of Fulfillment

•  Europe - Complete.
•  UK - Near completion.
•  US & Canada - Ongoing. According to our fulfillment partner, most backer orders should be out by "mid-November."
•  Australia & New Zealand - Freight shipment due to arrive in port (in Australia) on November 5th.

 The Living Valley

It's important to us that we offer awesome resources for Earthborne Rangers (like those found on our Resources page). One resource we've really wanted to offer is an online Campaign Guide with integrated Errata -- and we've done just that! You can now find our living Campaign Guide at thelivingvalley.earthbornegames.com. This site will also be the new home for the One Day Missions, Errata, and the FAQ.

The site is optimized for mobile and offers a light and dark theme for those that have a preference.

When viewing a page on mobile, you can open the hamburger menu on the top left to view the entire hierarchy and select which entry you'd like to read. You'll also find that entries with "if" statements will have direct links.

We are extremely excited for you all to try it out! As you play, please let us know if you catch any issues on the site, and we can make updates.

We had two new episodes of our advanced Playcast series, showcasing some outside-the-box goals and drop-in/drop-out gameplay as Evan tags in for Andrew Navaro on Day 2.

Quick Fulfillment Update: NA Fulfillment Begins!

Exciting news! North American fulfillment begins this week! Flying Cloud has begun printing shipping labels and some backers have already received confirmation emails to that effect. If you're in North America, expect to receive a confirmation email for your shipping label soon...and your order to ship soon after!

September '23 Fulfillment Micro Update

Hi everyone,

We've got a quick update for you on the state of fulfillment!

Current State of Fulfillment

•  Europe - Complete.
•  UK - Fulfillment began September 25; currently ongoing.
•  US & Canada - Our shipping container has cleared U.S. Customs (after a thorough inspection), and has arrived at Flying Cloud as of September 29. Fulfillment will begin soon!
•  Australia & New Zealand - The shipment is on the water. We're estimating October for fulfillment to begin.

Important note for backers in Norway and Switzerland: We had a issue where backers were being charged tax twice in Norway and Switzerland (once by us, and again as their package entered the country). We have refunded the tax charged for these backers in BackerKit, so you should see a credit from us on your credit card or bank statement.

Unboxing & Organizing Video

This past Tuesday we posted a new video in which Andrew Fischer opens up a copy of Earthborne Rangers and gives some tips on how to organize the cards for easy setup! Check it out below!

Learn To Play Videos

We've got a quick update for you on the state of fulfillment, our official online store, new website resources, and more!

State of Fulfillment

• European fulfillment is nearing completion. If you're in Europe you should either have your rewards in-hand, or you should have received a notification saying that your shipment is on the way.  
• In the UK, the shipment has arrived at Spiral Galaxy! We're currently awaiting word from them as to when fulfillment will begin. We should know more very soon!
• The North American shipment is on the Atlantic, and is currently due to arrive at the fulfillment center (Flying Cloud) the week of September 18. Once it arrives, we will know more precisely as to when rewards will start to ship.
• The shipment for Australia and New Zealand is also on the ocean, on its way to Aetherworks.

Preorder Store is Live

While the Core Game and Ranger Card Doubler have started showing up on a few online retail stores in Europe and the UK, the only place to find Earthborne Rangers online in the States will be from our direct-to-consumer sales partner, Team Covenant. You can visit the store here!

Covenant has been exceptionally supportive of us over the years, and we're beyond excited to finally be working with them in an official capacity. There is no one who we trust more with representing us in the marketplace than the beautiful humans (and dear friends) who comprise Team Covenant.

If you know someone who missed out on the Kickstarter and would like to get on board, this is their chance to do it. In addition to carrying the core game and the Ranger Card Doubler, they also have our rapidly diminishing stock of surplus add-ons (playmats, tokens, etc.), so if there's an add-on that you'd like that you didn't order in BackerKit, you have one more opportunity to do so. 

New Game Resources

We recently added a bunch of fantastic game resources to our website, with our new resources page!

As all of you begin receiving your copies, you'll now have easy access to premade starting Ranger decks for your deckbuilding-averse friends, a printable campaign tracker, in-game achievements, one-day missions, and more!

As a part of these new resources, we're also releasing a Learn To Play video series, with two new videos each week. You can find the first of these new videos below. 

New Playcast Episode

As of yesterday, we officially started a new Playcast series which will showcase a more "advanced" playthrough of the game. Our goal with this playthrough will be to highlight the flexibility of Earthborne Rangers and hint at the wide variety of experiences that the core game provides. Watch as the Andrews build their decks in preparation for Day 1, which will be posted next week!

European Fulfillment

Fulfillment in Europe is well underway! 400 shipments have been gone out so far, with more being sent each day. If you're in Europe and have yet to receive your tracking information, you should expect to receive it soon.

Legacy of the Ancestors Expansion

We've received a few messages from backers who have received their rewards inquiring after the state of the Legacy of the Ancestors expansion. While we mentioned this in one of our first post-campaign updates, we would like to reiterate that the Legacy of the Ancestors Expansion is currently in development. As such, it will not ship in this round of fulfillment. Most importantly, you will not be charged again for shipping once it's ready to go.

When fulfillment is complete for the Earthborne Rangers Core Game and the other add-ons, our updates will switch over to focus on the state of the expansion. If you'd like to keep up to date on development, we discuss the expansion regularly on our bi-weekly podcast.

Opening the Box

A handful of backers have asked for our recommendation for how to best to remove the stickers that seal the box. We recommend cutting the sticker but leaving it on the box. We've heard that some folks have been successful in carefully removing their stickers, but the adhesive is quite sticky, so a fair amount of residue can remain on the surface of the box once the sticker is removed. Cleaning the lingering residue (with Goo Gone or other solvents) risks marring the printing on the box, so we do not recommend it. 

To cut the sticker without fear of damaging the box, you can simply use a playing card (instead of a knife) as shown below. Simply insert the card next to the sticker, apply a gentle pressure to the edge, and draw the card through to the other side of the sticker in a single motion. Since the sticker is made of paper, you'll find that it takes very little force to slice it open. 

BGG Hotness

We were delighted to see that Earthborne Rangers climbed to #1 on the Board Game Geek Hotness last weekend. It was incredibly exciting to see, especially with us having only just begun fulfillment. While the hype and recognition is gratifying, what we want most is to get the game into your hands, and once we do, we're very much looking forward to hearing all about your personal experiences exploring the Valley.

Gen Con

While we are not at Gen Con this week, there are a grand total of two copies of Earthborne Rangers at the show! If you're attending Gen Con and would like to check it out for yourself, you are welcome to stop by either the Ludo Fact or All About Games booth and take a look!

You can find Ludo Fact at Booth #656 and All About Games at Booth #1536.

For those of you interested in our convention plans, we are currently planning to attend PAX Unplugged this winter. We'll be sure to let you know when those plans solidify!
